    DACE Lecture: Wales and the Welfare State

    The next in the series of free community lectures organised by the Department of Adult Continuing Education (DACE) at Swansea University focuses on Wales and the establishement of the welfare state.

    Time: 10.30am – 12.15pm

    Venue: Canolfan Maerdy, New Road, Tairgwaith, Neath Port Talbot, SA18 1UD

    Admission: Admission is free, but as seating is limited in the venues please book in advance to avoid disappointment (see below for contact details).

    Lecture summary: This lecture will look at the contributions of Welsh politicians such as Lloyd George, Aneurin Bevan and Jim Griffiths to the establishment of the Welfare State.
