Simyu Technology has planned series of the products, solutions those will reduce capital cost of renewable energy systems and make them more efficient. As a part of this, Simyu Technology aims to bring efficient grid tied microinverter to the international market.
Microinverter will be used to feed back the power generated from Solar PV (or any other renewable source) to the grid and local loads. Microinverter offers advantage of long life, higher efficiency and easy installation. This product will also have a tracker function which will be developed separately and integrated later. This will bring down the cost of installation and provide more power for the invested amount.
The Athena SWAN Charter recognises work undertaken by institutions to advance gender equality. The College of Engineering is an Athena SWAN bronze award holder and is committed to addressing unequal gender representation.
Candidates should hold an Engineering or Physical Sciences degree with a minimum classification level of 2:1 or equivalent relevant experience.
This project is suitable for candidates with Electronics / Electrical Engineering background. Knowledge of TI DSP such as TMS320F28335 will be advantageous.
