Whether it's finding out where to park, planning which talks to attend or making time to explore the local area, there are many questions which need answering before and during a University Open Day. We hope these questions help you to plan your day but if you have any further questions please contact and we will be happy to help.

Don't worry if you can't attend any of the undergraduate open days. We have other ways to visit us such as guided tours by student ambassadors on set days throughout the year or you can download our self guided tour brochure. More information is available here.

Can I attend more than one departmental talk?

Yes. We expect that many visitors will be interested in more than one subject and would like to attend more than one talk. Most talks are repeated throughout the day and all talks are listed in our Open Day Programme which is available to download two weeks before the day.

We know that there are many different options in some subject areas and it can sometimes be difficult to choose between them. To help you with your decision, staff from all academic departments will be available at our Information Fair and can answer your questions and give advice. The Information Fair will be held in Fulton House (Singleton Park Campus) between 10am - 2pm.

Can I go on a campus tour?

Yes. Tours of both campuses will run throughout the Open Day and will be led by our student ambassadors. You will get the chance to ask our students all about life here at Swansea University and see all the facilities we have on offer.

Do you recommend any hotels in the area?

The Visit Swansea Bay website suggests lots of nice places to stay in Swansea. I'm afraid there is no accommodation available for Open Day visitors in University Residences.
