With a beachfront campus, student life in Swansea is about heading to the beach after lectures for bbqs, volleyball and surfing with your friends. Flanked by Swansea Bay's 7m stretch of golden sands, and just a short drive from Langland Bay, Oxwich Bay and Rhossili, where would you rather be?

Students Love it #SwanseaUniLife

Don't take our word for it, see for yourself. Search on Instagram for #SwanseaUniLife and you'll see some of the amazing adventures that our students have while exploring our fantastic city, with thousands of years' worth of history and culture on our doorstep.

Busy city

Swansea is more than just a beachfront city. It's a thriving metropolis with a world-famous nightlife, vibrant bar and restaurant scene and a bustling city centre (with a castle in the middle!). Flanked by the gorgeous marina which houses the tallest building and highest restaurant in Wales, you'll love your time in the city.

The jewel in the crown of Swansea. Voted the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we're naturally proud of this gem. Home to castles, Neolithic burial chambers, medieval churches and, of course, an enviable number of the world's greatest beaches, you'll always find something worth exploring in the world-famous Gower Peninsula.

Students' Union

The Swansea Students' Union is fantastic and really does cater for all tastes. Vegan shops, the Summer Ball, and every club you can think of (including Quidditch!). You'll make friends for life.

Premier League Football

Swansea is a sporting city and nowhere is this more evident than Saturday afternoon matchdays at the Liberty Stadium. Home to both the Ospreys, and Swansea City – Wales' only Premier League team – taking in a Premier League match is essential for all fans of the beautiful game!

There's so much going on

Swansea is a vibrant city scene with a coastline to envy anywhere in the world. Most importantly, there is always something going on. Whether you prefer the Swansea Triathlon and Half Marathon, or the festival scene covered by the Gower Cheese and Cider Festival, International Jazz Festival and annual Swansea Science Festival, you're bound to find something to your taste!
