Module Aim:

This module aims to provide registered nurses and allied health professionals with an improved knowledge base and a range of practical skills focused on risk assessment, formulation and management. Along with effective care management strategies there will be a focus on improving the identification and use of therapeutic interventions whilst working with people who have a mental disorder and present with a history or risk of criminal offending

Target Group:

Students will need to be involved in the care of individuals presenting with clinical risk areas and have access to a senior practitioner who can act as their clinical mentor
